QPR boss Harry Redknapp has dismissed suggestions he will be sacked if his side fail to beat Manchester United. The Hoops are in the Premier League relegation zone and meet Louis van Gaal's fourth-placed side on Saturday.
Poor results have led to speculation that Redknapp's job is under threat and he joked: "The journalists could have picked an easy game for me."
But the 67-year-old added club owner Tony Fernandes had "mentioned nothing of that nature to me".
He added: "I've got a great relationship with owner and the shareholders, but if they want to take a change of direction then that's their decision.
"There's nothing I can do about that, whatever they do they do. There's no point losing sleep."
