Redknapp says Neymar fluffed lines in front of Chelsea, Man City chiefs

Former Liverpool and Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp believes Chelsea and Manchester City will be putting their chequebooks away after seeing Neymar flop against England. The Santos star failed to get into the game as England won 2-1.

Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "It doesn't take long looking at YouTube to see how good Neymar is, but what happened to him last night? He looked a long way out of his depth at Wembley. I bet there are one or two of the big spenders in England who are glad they haven't shelled out for the Santos striker.

"He's better than this, of course - at least his agents will hope so! He was really poor and he kept slipping over. Compare him to Wayne Rooney, who scored a goal and had a hand in the other: Rooney came out on top."
