Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is reluctant to buy in January.
Redknapp is eyeing a tilt at the title with his current staff - unless Spurs are hit by a rash of injuries.
Redknapp said: "As it stands, I'm not looking to bring anyone into the club in January. I was initially concerned about injuries to some of our defenders, which left us light on the ground. But with William Gallas and Ledley King returning, those concerns have subsided.
"To be honest, we have a very strong squad, one of the best in the Premier League, so I wouldn't know where to bring in players that would improve us, as we are pretty strong all over the pitch.
"There is absolutely no point in going out and signing players if they can't improve the team. And, as it is, I have enough strength in depth in my squad."
