Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is beginning to distance himself from the England job.

Redknapp is regarded as favourite to succeed Fabio Capello, but the chance of winning the title with Spurs is now proving a major pull.

Asked what he will do if he fails this season, Redknapp replied: "Then I will try again next year. At the moment I'm not going anywhere. I have 18 months left on my contract.

"Who knows the future? There are others involved, too."
