Redknapp prepared to stay with QPR if they go down

QPR boss Harry Redknapp says he's willing to stay if they're relegated this season.

Redknapp is confident his side can stay up but says chairman Tony Fernandes will make the final decision over his future if the club do get relegated.

He told the London Evening Standard: "I would not say I am too good to manage in the Championship, I do not see it that way.

"If QPR go down, I will have to look at the whole situation and it is up to the board and the chairman to decide. I am not above managing a club in the Championship.

"At the moment I am focused on keeping the club in the Premier League. We can do it. It is a big gap and we have got to try to close that gap if we can.

"We probably need 20 points to give ourselves a chance and I would not be sure whether that will be enough."
