Harry Redknapp is convinced Jose Mourinho has the Manchester United job.

But he warns United need to back the Special One in the transfer market.

The former Tottenham boss stated: “Jose Mourinho is the red-hot favourite to go in there and to me it seems pretty much a done deal.

“The club have never denied it. He can save them but they need to buy top players.

“Every time United draw or lose, [Louis] Van Gaal gets almighty stick and you can see it is doing him in."
