Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp has hailed the season of West Ham United defender Winston Reid.

Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "I haven't mentioned Winston Reid all season, but he has been excellent for West Ham alongside James Collins and they have been pivotal to the club being well clear of the danger zone.

"Reid is a warrior defender who can look ungainly but rarely makes mistakes."
