Really? Drogba claims Pogba 'carried France as a leader' against Argentina

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba believes Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was impressive for France's World Cup win against Argentina.

Indeed, Drogba felt Pogba "carried the team as a leader".

"Paul Pogba carried the team as a leader. He was incredible for France today," he told the BBC.

Following Michael Carrick's retirement, United are due to name a new captain this summer and Pogba will be among those in the mix for the role.

Although the Frenchman's relationship with Mourinho has come under scrutiny, he did captain United on six occasions last season in games against Basel (twice), Burnley, Southampton, Everton and Derby.
