Real Valladolid president Suarez wants Escudero stay

Real Valladolid president Carlos Suarez has poured cold water on reports that young Argentine Richard Escudero could be sold.

"I have no news and Villarreal (Escudero's parent club) has not told us anything, but I am not surprised by the interest in the player, who is very good, but here is not playing much, because Jonathan Sesma has been impressive," said Suarez.

"Our idea, of course, is that Escudero stays until the end of the season, because many things can happen."
