Real Valladolid owner Ronaldo has sacked former Real Madrid teammate Julio Baptista.

Baptista has been sacked as Real Valladolid Promesas coach and replaced by Alvaro Rubio.

Baptista is axed after criticising management on the weekend over their approach to his young players.

The Brazilian had been coaching inside the Valladolid youth system for five years.

Rubio leaves the senior staff to take charge of the B team.
