Takefusa Kubo has pledged his commitment to Real Sociedad.

Kubo struck in victory over Real Madrid last night, which have a buy-back option in his deal.

"When I was little I put on TV to watch the Champions League and it even put on the music from the Champions League. I've been playing in Europe for two years and I want to take the step of playing in the Champions League," he said.

Kubo settled any doubts about his future, after Real coach Carlo Ancelotti said they were following him and that in the summer they "would assess what to do".

"He has not spoken to me and I personally was afraid that the people of La Real would not want me for next year, but they do want me and I am very happy about it and next year I will be 100% txuriurdin."
