Takefusa Kubo has rejected a massive offer from Saudi Arabia to stay with Real Sociedad.

Mundo Deportivo says Al-Hilal has offered a contract to Kubo worth €15m-a-year - net. Al-Hilal were also willing to pay Kubo's €60m buyout clause.

But the Japan international has rejected the offer.

Kubo has been obsessed with playing in the Champions League and there's little chance of him being tempted away from La Real with a first campaign now looming.

Kubo was sold by Real Madrid last summer to La Real.
