Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay wants to challenge for LaLiga title this season.

La Real will return to the Champions League this term and Aperriay wants a serious title push made.

He said, "Our goal not only has to be to simply participate in the Champions League, our goal has to be to win LaLiga, to be with the best on a recurring basis.

"Perhaps our first job is to be the best from Monday to Friday, so that the players feel that they are taking advantage of the time being at La Real, that they are progressing.

"Football has an advantage and a big drawback, and that is that, even if we all spend a lot, only one can win LaLiga, even if we all spend a lot, only six or seven teams can go to Europe."
