Real Sociedad defender Robin Le Normand is delighted with his first Spain call.

Le Normand was granted Spanish citizenship this year and accepted a La Roja call-up last week, despite also qualifying for France.

He explained: "I've been in Spain for eight years, Real Sociedad he has given me a lot in this period.

"And receiving this call-up made things easy for me. After talking about it with my family, I quickly made a decision.

"I am grateful to France, but the idea of accepting Spain has always been very clear in my head."
