Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil says victory over Barcelona was deserved.

The 2-1 win strengthens their Champions League chances.

"These guys have beaten teams like Real Madrid, Manchester United and now Barça to get the big prize, which is to get into the Champions League," said the coach.

"It was complicated because of the team we had in front of us, a great team. Regardless of the fact that this week they have been celebrating the title. The important thing is what we did."

Real had not won at the Camp Nou since 1991.

"Although there was the burden of not having won here for so many years, the team played without having any complexes. In the whole season at home Barça had conceded two goals, the same as we scored today", the Blue and Whites' coach added.
