Real Sociedad coach Imanol Algucil was happy with his players in defeat to Barcelona.

Barca won 4-1 in San Sebastian on Sunday night.

Imanol said: "The pace was strong, a shame because we've had our moments and scoring hasn't given us air.

"We have had a few occasions, with arrivals with danger just like them, playing from power to power, a shame not being more successful.

"The three defenders was not usual with Xavi. We have adjusted quickly, we must be ready for any change in the system. We have adapted until our strength has gone, the game has been even.

"Good news that (Alexander) Isak scored and the great game we played. We still have a tad left to be able to sustain this pace for 90 minutes. With the Europa League, what we have with matches every three days is going to be a very difficult."
