Real Sociedad captain Xabi Prieto insists they're capable of upsetting Barcelona on Sunday.

Barca have been undone on several trips to la Real since the Basque side returned to the 'Primera División' in 2009.

"I hope it goes well for us, but they aren't the easiest of teams to welcome the New Year with. We've beaten them on other occasions, and we'll see if we can manage it again," said Prieto.

Prieto disagreed with recent criticism of Luis Enrique's team and he thinks that Barça are in good form.

"Talking about a crisis when they're just four points off a Real Madrid that are playing out of their skins is a little exaggerated. I think they look strong, and if we lose our focus on Sunday or aren't up for the game, then they'll demolish us."
