Pepe was delighted with his comeback game for Real Madrid in last night's 4-3 defeat of Real Mallorca.

In the second-half, the defender played alongside Gabriel Heinze at the back and said at the final whistle: "After two months out, the only thing that I wanted was to play and I am very happy for having achieved it.

"It's been a long time without being able to play and I have had very difficult days, for that reason I felt very good when I jumped onto the pitch, since the wait had become very long."

Pepe also revealed he had mended his rift with Javier Balboa after their training ground bust-up on Friday.

"The mess with Balboa already is solved, we spoke and we forgave eachother."
