Gonzalo Higuain hopes the critics get off Real Madrid's back after their 4-3 victory over Numancia.

The Argentine attacker said: "After defeat at the Riazor (against Deportivo La Coruna), it was very important for us to win this match.

"People have to be quiet. We were twice ahead, came back with spirit going through the roof and put four goals past a team that defends very well. It was a very difficult game."
