Real Madrid will take £30M from Chelsea for Kaka

Chelsea are set to push for a £30 million deal for Real Madrid star Kaka.

A tweet from Kaka's Mum last night about moving to London in August has set tongues wagging, though she has since denied the switch involves her son.

The Mirror says suggestions from Madrid hinted at a potential £30million deal for the 29-year-old, who has long been on Roman Abramovich's radar.

Blues owner Abramovich is committed to a massive rebuilding job this summer, irrespective of who replaces doomed manager Carlo Ancelotti in the hot-seat.

Chelsea refused to get drawn into an auction with Real when Kaka briefly became the most expensive player in the world - Cristiano Ronaldo rubbed his name off that pinnacle within a week - as he moved from Milan for £55m in the summer of 2009.

But Abramovich, who is demanding a squad built to get the most out of British record signing Fernando Torres, has never lost his enthusiasm for signing the God-fearing, immensely talented South American play-maker.
