Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel at the World Cup.
AS says Real are weighing up a move for the 22 year-old Holland international as an alternative to Inter Milan defender Douglas Maicon.
Van der Wiel is under contract until June 2013 and has also garnered the interest of Barcelona.
