Real Madrid veteran Lucas Vazquez says they were pleased with a tough 2-1 win against Elche.
Vázquez started the game at right-back.
He said, "It was a tough away trip and a really important game for us. We're pleased to come away with three points. We knew that if the team showed commitment and we all attacked and defended as a unit, we would get chances to score goals, and we did that today. Vini Jr.'s opener gave us added confidence.
“We struggled a bit more than we should have towards the end but it's a fair result. It's a really big win for us, the team has reacted really well, your legs feel less heavy when you're winning. We're going to try and keep on like this so we head into the international break with more victories."
On two-goal Vinicius Junior, Vazquez added: “We're delighted with his form at the moment. He's becoming absolutely unstoppable. We're going to keep enjoying him and watching him grow, nobody knows the levels he can reach."
