Real Madrid have suffered a major injury blow suffered by Vinicius Jr.

The Brazil attacker is facing six weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring strain, says Ok Diario.

Vinicius Jr had to be replaced 16 minutes into the win at Celta Vigo on Friday after suffering discomfort in the back of the right leg.

After a powerful run, when he traveled more than half a field, he was left sore and was forced from the pitch for treatment.

He returned sporting a bandage, but minutes later he went to the ground asking for a change.
