Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata will 'keep fighting' after Man Utd move collapses

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is ready to "fight" for his career after seeing a move to Manchester United fall through.

United have pulled out of a deal after going for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

"We must keep fighting, as there's no alternative," is the message from Morata's representatives, says Marca.

From the 24-year-old's point of view, the promise of slightly more minutes than in 2016/17 was not enough and he was seeking relevance at Manchester United.

That route remains closed for the time being and Chelsea look like the only other club who could offer him a way out of the Spanish capital, although they too may struggle to reach the 90 million euros being demanded.
