Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde was happy with his double in victory over AC Milan today.
Real won 3-2 in Los Angeles after the Rossoneri's initial 2-0 lead via Fikayo Tomori and Luka Romero goals, was pegged back by two goals from Valverde and one from Vinicius Jr.
Valverde later said: "Very motivated and with the same desire as always. I already started counting the minutes, I don't know how many the coach is going to give me after these two goals!
"I am very comfortable with the team and with the teammates, who are giving me the best every day. On my birthday I felt very dear, it is very nice to be part of this."
Valverde was also asked about the prospect of Real signing PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
He added: "Well, I can tell you little. I am a Real Madrid player and for me Mbappé is obviously one of the best in the world. Not only now, but for many years he will surely be one of the best. As a soccer fan I enjoy watching him play.
"And well, as a Real Madrid player I try to defend this shield and be ready for what comes..."
