Real Madrid have been rumbled as the club which had an €80 million offer rejected by AS Monaco for Kylian Mbappe.

It emerged in France that ASM had turned down the bid last week from a mystery suitor.

Don Balon says Real president Florentino Perez failed with the offer as he seeks to bring Mbappe to Madrid this summer.

Perez is prepared to sell Alvaro Morata AND Karim Benzema to make room for the French teen.

The deal has the approval of Real coach Zinedine Zidane, who has spoken highly of the Monaco superkid.
