Sergio Ramos is seeking a bumper pay-hike at Real Madrid.
Punto Pelota says the defender is seeking a raise from his current €5 million salary to €6.5 million.
The new deal would place Ramos among the club's higher earners and president Florentino Perez is happy to agree to the terms.
Perez rates Ramos among the best defenders in the world and also has become close to the player and his family in recent years.
