Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists there's been no row with Sergio Ramos over new contract talks.

Former Real GM Arrigo Sacchi revealed last week Ramos had complained to him the club were demanding he accept a pay-cut to extend his contract.

Perez said: "I've never had a clash with Sergio Ramos over his renewal. They say he's my darling ... I am not aware of anything wrong.

"I am aware of the shirt he and Pepe gave me in Miami. But these are minor things that is very Madridista. Ramos, Pepe, and all will stay here."

He added: "He wants to retire in Madrid and Madrid want him to continue here. He is the best centre-half in the world."
