Real Madrid president Perez faces losing furious Ceballos as Liverpool to try again

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is no closer to convincing Dani Ceballos to stay this summer.

Furious after a 29 second appearance against Leganes last week, Ceballos' mood has not improved after a 20 minute substitute's showing for victory over Alaves on Saturday.

Diario Gol says the midfielder is fuming and despite the vocal support of Perez, his minders have informed the president he didn't leave Real Betis last summer to be a super-sub.

It's already been confirmed that Ceballos was blocked from joining Liverpool in January - and the Reds are still in contact.

Serie A trio Juventus, Roma and AC Milan are also watching developments, along with Betis - where coach Quique Setien has openly declared he'd welcome the Spain U21 star back to the club next season.
