Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is happy to take advantage of the Premier League's questionable decision to shorten their transfer window in his bid for Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
With the Premier League market to shut two weeks earlier than the rest of Europe, Perez is happy to wait until the end of the summer to prise Pogba away.
Counting on the assistance of the player and agent Mino Raiola, reports ABC, Perez will aim to drive down United's price from their current €120m demands.
Perez feels around €90m is more realistic for the Frenchman.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane said last week: "I like the player a lot, I know him personally.
"He is a truly different player, few players can contribute what he can. He's a midfielder who knows how to defend, attack and build the play. He knows how to do everything on the field.
"But he is not part of my squad, he is at Manchester United, so we must respect that.
"What he has said about Madrid and his desire to come... if one day there is a possibility that he wants to leave United then why would he not come to Madrid."
