Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has set a ceiling over their bidding for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

Perez is refusing to give up on De Gea, though is battling to reach terms with United - and also the player. De Gea is locked in talks with United about a new contract.

El Mundo Deportivo says Perez isn't giving up on signing De Gea - but will limit the amount they pay for the Spain international.

A ceiling of €90m has been set inside the Real boardroom in negotiations with United for their goalkeeper.
