Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to put aside €450 MILLION to prise Harry Kane away from Tottenham.
Perez has made the England centre-forward his No1 transfer target for 2018, knowing Real's attack is in desperate need for renewal.
Before the 7-1 rout of Deportivo La Coruna, Real had managed 32 goals in 19 games, while LaLiga leaders Barcelona boasted 52.
Perez sees Kane as the solution to Real's crisis and has already spoken to the club's money men about a budget to bring the Londoner to Madrid, says Don Balon.
Real are prepared to go as high as €200m in bidding for Kane, with a further €250m set aside for Kane's wages. A lucrative signing on bonus would also be put on the table to tempt Kane away.
