Real Madrid president Florentino revisits De Gea 'obsession' as Keylor faces axe

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to revive plans to bring Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea back to Spain.

Jugones the Chiringuiro says Florentino remains 'obsessed' by the Spain No1 and is ready to dump Keylor Navas in order to make room for De Gea next season.

Indeed, it's suggested strategic leaks from inside Real are making their way to the local media about growing doubts over Keylor's form and fitness.

The Costa Rica international has only just found his way back into the first team after a close-season operation and is being blamed for goals conceded against Borussia Dortmund and Eibar.

Real directors feel Keylor is now on the decline and are preparing for his sale in 2017.

And that will open the door to Florentino making a fresh attempt for De Gea next summer.
