Real Madrid president Florentino plans €100M bid for Juventus star Pogba

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is preparing a world record cash bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.Tuttosport says Perez is willing to offer an incredible €100 million to Juve to bring the French youngster to Madrid in the summer.

The Turin newspaper headlined yesterday, 'Pogba, Real now is serious', and declared Perez was aiming to repeat history when he was able to prise Zinedine Zidane away from Juve in 2001.

Ironically, it is Zidane, now Real's Castilla coach, who has been Pogba's most vocal ally inside the club, convinced his countryman is the best young midfield talent in the game.

Only this week, Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, admitted the player's long-term future would not be in Turin.

"Can he still remain in Italy? No. Leave Juve? It will be up to them, we have renewed, we are happy with Juventus but when the time is right, he will leave.

"We will see, I do not know when the right time comes ... "
