Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is counting on Eden Hazard helping convince Kylian Mbappe about a move to Spain this summer.

While Florentino yesterday distanced Real from any immediate move for the PSG star, France Football reports Chelsea ace Hazard is in contact with Mbappe urging him to join him in Madrid.

The Real president insisted on Onda Cero: "I did not talk about Mbappé or Neymar with (coach Zinedine) Zidane, with him or with anyone. We have not spoken with Mbappé and we will not talk."

However, a deal between Real and Chelsea for Hazard is already locked away and now Florentino is using the Belgian's influence on Mbappe to bring the World Cup winner to Spain.

Hazard and Mbappe have become friends since last year's World Cup, with the French youngster never short of praise for the Chelsea attacker when asked in public.
