Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is now drawing up a shortlist of replacements for Santiago Solari.

AS says only by winning the Champions League will Solari be in charge next season, this despite him penning a new two-year deal at the beginning of the year.

Florentino now has three major names under consideration.

Germany coach Joachim Low and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino both remain under consideration, while Max Allegri of Juventus is also interesting the Real president.

Pochettino remains favoured by Florentino. The Argentine's Spanish and style of play gives him an advantage over rival candidates.
