Manchester City midfielder Raheem Sterling's camp have fielded an approach from Real Madrid.
Sterling, it emerged last week, has been left hanging by City as he waits to discuss a new contract. The development led to reports of interest from Real last week.
And Diario Gol says Real president Florentino Perez has picked up the phone and called Sterling's representatives for an update on his situation.
However, the message from Sterling was: Thanks, but no thanks.
It was made clear to Perez that the England international is happy where he is. While Sterling is frustrated by delays over opening new contract talks, the midfielder loves playing for manager Pep Guardiola and has no plans to leave this summer.
