Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists coach Carlo Ancelotti has total say on team selection.

Perez insists there's no pressure on Ancelotti to play Iker Casillas ahead of current first-choice goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

"No one here says to a coach who should play, less with Casillas, who has all the affection of the whole board and the fans. He's the best goalkeeper in the history of Real Madrid," said Perez.

"I want there to be no doubt, it is not true Real Madrid have spoken to the coach about this topic. We're delighted with Casillas and Diego Lopez. Iker is a great professional who will return to give many evenings of glory."
