Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has revealed Guti has agreed terms on his new lifetime contract and will put pen to paper "in the coming days".

"We have shown that we believe in him because this week we extended his contract and he will be one of the players who will have a contract for life," said Calderon.

"Guti is a genius."
