Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is confident of signing Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Andrei Arshavin.

Sport Express says in a meeting with Real fans based in Minsk, Calderon declared: "His (Arshavin) arrival is likely."

It's mooted that Real are willing to wait until the summer to sign the Russia international if Zenit continue to demand big money.
