Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The Daily Star says Spanish sources state Bernabeu officials regard the 22-year-old as an alternative should they miss out on Manchester United's David De Gea.
Real remain on the lookout for Iker Casillas's successor and see Belgian Courtois as a readymade replacement.
Chelsea are almost certain to reject any bids for Courtois as he is one of their most prized assets. But Real could tempt Blues boss Jose Mourinho by offering Raphael Varane in part-exchange.
However, Courtois will still need to be convinced after spending three years at city rivals Atletico Madrid.
