Real Madrid players clash in locker room inquest after Atletico Madrid stalemate

Real Madrid players held an inquest in the immediate aftermath of their 0-0 draw at Atletico Madrid.

Don Balon says several senior players had their say, with Luka Modric the most vocal.

The Croatian and Cristiano Ronaldo crossed swords, with the Portuguese complaining about the lack of service he received and how he was isolated in attack.

For his part, Modric was upset with the lack of work off the ball from the strikers.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, fears all the signs are that Real are on the decline, with no sign of a recovery. The attacker has told friends he is concerned they'll finish potless if their form continues as it is.

The result comes in the same week it broke that Ronaldo has rejected a new contract offer from Real and demanding he be sold at the end of the season.
