Real Madrid pair Alaba and Casemiro struggling to make Man City clash

Real Madrid pair David Alaba and Casemiro are doubts for their Champions League semifinal first-leg clash with Manchester City.

Casemiro and Alaba will travel to England for the fixture but a decision regarding their fitness will be made in the final hour as they are said to be struggling with injuries.

Marca says the pair struggled to finish a squad training session at Valdebebas before their trip to England.

The details of their injuries have not yet been disclosed and Real Madrid are said to be making a 'late fitness' call ahead of their clash with City.

However, Madrid have been handed as boost as Ferland Mendy is said to be available for Tuesday evening's fixture.

Mendy completed a full training, without any issues, ahead of their trip to the Premier League giants. Therefore, he will be in contention to start the game at the Etihad.
