Real Madrid are launching a new bid for Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery.

AS says Real president Florentino Perez is ready to use the cash put aside for Valencia striker David Villa to make an offer for Ribery.

Real had originally hoped to discuss a player swap deal with Bayern for the Frenchman, but now are prepared to put £50 million on the table to convince them to sell.
