Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos says he wouldn't be surprised if they signed PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
The German midfielder was quizzed about the possible arrival of the French superstar, as well as Erling Haaland who has also been linked with Los Blancos in the past.
"I prefer to talk about signings that have already been completed," he said in an interview with BILD.
"But since Real [Madrid] always want the best, I would not be surprised.
"Next to him, Haaland is definitely the most interesting player on the market, and therefore [would] not exactly [be] cheap.
"We must not forget that we are in a period where there's not an endless flow of money and, at the same time, we are completing our stadium [which] is not free either."
Kroos also commented on the departure of Sergio Ramos.
"It's going to be a strange feeling. For me he is the best defender of my time, an absolute leader," he said of Ramos.
"I don't know what went wrong, but now we have to replace him all together."
