Real Madrid midfielder Kroos happy defeating Valencia: No more slip-ups

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos was happy after victory over Valencia.

Kroos struck in the 2-0 win.

He said afterwards, "We feel good because we put in a good performance from the first minute to the last. We need to score more goals, but in the end, we got a good result.

"We need to continue playing like this. We always look for long spells of possession because with the quality we have we create chances and score goals. I think we can do a lot more and keep improving.

"These performances are good for confidence. We've got a quieter week now, but after that we've got games coming up that will decide how the season ends. It's important to go into these games full of confidence. We have to try to get three points from every match we play, that's the objective. I like to score goals, but as I always say, I have to do contribute for the team in other ways."

On the title race, Kroos added: "Even if we win every game, we know that it's not enough. Our objective is to concentrate on what we do, we can't do anything else. If we want to have a chance of finishing top, we can't slip up."
