Real Madrid midfielder Asensio: I don't need to copy Morata

Marcos Asensio insists he can handle not being a regular starter for Real Madrid.

Asensio was again a substitute for the draw with Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

"I've always said that what I'm trying to do is work with the hope of being more and more important, and taking advantage of the minutes they give me," Asensio stated at his pre-match press conference.

Speaking on Alvaro Morata, the 21-year-old was clear on the differences between himself and the current Chelsea player, who left in the summer.

"The case of Morata is different," he said. "I'm 21 years old, I am young. I'm getting starts.

"I will try to keep working to earn more minutes in the important matches."
