Real Madrid matchwinner Casemiro deflected praise to his teammates after victory at Real Valladolid.

Casemiro struck the only goal of the game for the 1-0 win.

"It's a credit to the whole team. We're all ready, and everyone contributed," he said afterwards.

"Everyone knows that we've all got an important role to play. I'm not surprised by Thibaut's saves, he's a great goalkeeper, but we can't just focus on one player after a win like this. Everyone has to be praised.

"This run of four consecutive wins is important, especially because of the players that we've got out, as they're very important for us. We hope to have them back as soon as possible because we're counting on them.

"We believe that we're in the race for LaLiga and we know that every game's important. We've got 42 points left to play for, that's a lot of points. This squad knows it's difficult, but we believe that we're in the race for LaLiga."
