Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has been declared World Club Coach of the Year 2022 by the IFFHS.
The Italian coach dominated the rankings thanks to a superb season in which he won LaLiga, the Champions League and the European Super Cup. Ancelotti scored 245 points, 200 more than the second-ranked Pep Guardiola, who has won the award only twice.
Walid Regragui, who was third in the ranking of the world's best national team coaches, completed the podium with a third-place spot for the World's best club coach in 2022 with CAF Champions League winners Wydad Casablanca.
It is the first time in the history of the IFFHS awards that a coach has reached the podium for both coaching categories in the same year.
