Real Madrid management are satisfied with their summer sales campaign. While buyers could not be found for transfer-listed players Ruud van Nistelrooy, Rafael van der Vaart, Royston Drenthe, Christoph Metzelder and Mahamadou Diarra, Real were still able to raise over €90 million from sales. This, in addition to the wages saved, represents a big success for Real president Florentino Perez's new team.
