While buyers could not be found for transfer-listed players Ruud van Nistelrooy, Rafael van der Vaart, Royston Drenthe, Christoph Metzelder and Mahamadou Diarra, Real were still able to raise over €90 million from sales. This, in addition to the wages saved, represents a big success for Real president Florentino Perez's new team.

- Wesley Sneijder (HOL, 25 ans) : €19M, transferred to Inter Milan

- Alvaro Negredo (ESP, 24 ans) : €15M, sold to FC Sevilla

- Javi Garcia (ESP, 22 ans) : €7M, recruited by Benfica

- Javier Saviola (ARG, 27 ans) : €5M, left for Benfica

- Daniel Parejo (ESP, 20 ans) : €3M, transferred to Getafe

- Miguel Torres (ESP, 23 ans) : €2M, enlisted by Getafe
